Join us at Lone Tree Farm for an exciting weekend exploring the world of herbs with Hope Rose. Hope Rose has been working with medicinal and culinary herbs for over 30 years and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. In this hands-on workshop she will pass along her expertise in making herbal salves, soaps, tinctures, essential oils, and more. Participants will take home a variety of items made during the workshop along with the skills to continue making interesting herbal products on their own.
Accommodation at Lone Tree Farm and delicious meals featuring our fresh organic produce are included in the workshop price. Workshop participants are free to enjoy walking throughout the farm--115 acres of Mendocino county scenery, from the peaceful redwood groves in the canyon to the sunny hilltops with organic walnut and apple orchard, vegetable garden, and our friendly herd of rare breed Scottish ponies. On Saturday evening all are invited to join hosts Peter Kapp and Wendy Rowe for a live celtic music performance featuring Highland bagpipes and Scottish smallpipes.
Class size is limited to 7 people to insure that everyone receives individual instruction. Accommodation choices are on a first come, first served basis so please register early! Private bedrooms in the historic farmhouse, rustic cabins, and secluded spots to set up your own tent are available.
Workshop cost is $500 per person. Accommodation and meals for spouses or friends who don't wish to participate in the workshop can be arranged if space is available.
